Where it all started…

Cupcake & Company started with a boy, but don’t worry, this isn’t one of those stories. The boy was Jacob, my son. When he was only three, he fell in love with a chihuahua puppy in my mother’s obedience class. She taught each week with the D’Arbonne Kennel Club in Lincoln Parish. We promised that if he could save enough money, we would match it and buy him a puppy. What we did not expect was for him to save every single coin he discovered. By the time his fifth birthday came around, he had saved hundreds of dollars in mostly pennies. Being that he was so little, the breeder spoke with him directly; the most important question she asked him was “What will you name your new puppy?” … Cupcake was born and came into our lives, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Our story doesn’t end there. A new chapter is added each time a puppy is placed with their loving homes.
